Inspired by healing and spirituality, Matthew has been practicing massage therapy for over 15 years. He studied Swedish massage, Shiatsu, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Integrative massage at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in the state of Colorado. He is the creator of the ÔM massage, a technique in which he trains professional massage therapists. Matthew knows that the ÔM massage is exactly the kind of massage Gatineau (and the world) has been waiting for! Matthew also studies natural therapy with Suzanne Gagnon-Haslam at the Clinique de Médecines Douces Suzanne Énergie, at Ste-Marthe-sur-le-Lac. He has also been practicing Tibetan Buddhist meditation for approximately 20 years under the guidance of Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche. He is a meditation instructor in this tradition. Matthew is a member of the Can-American Association of Massage Therapists and the National Association of Naturotherapy.

Danika is an eternal student of Life! Having always been intrigued by human nature and wanting to be of service to others, she undertook university studies in psychology. In 2006, her heart guided her toward yoga, massage therapy and Tibetan Buddhist meditation, three disciplines that have helped her reconnect with herself like never before.
Danika is co-owner of ÔM Massage Therapy and Holistic Care Centre. She studied massage therapy at Guijek Institute in Montreal, where she learned and integrated different massage techniques such as Esalen inspired technique, massage during pregnancy and deep tissue massage. She then studied Reiki and Therapeutic Touch with Suzanne Gagnon-Haslam with whom she developed profound appreciation for energetic healing and metaphysics. She has been studying yoga since 2006 and undertook a teaching certification with Hervé Blondon at Satyam School of Hatha Yoga, in Montreal. She now teaches at Centre Yoga, in Aylmer, in partnership with her colleague and mentor, Eliot Acuna. Her classes emphasize precision of body alignment allowing students to progress gradually, in a safe and supported way and are given in a joyful, nurturing and loving ambiance.
